What Seedance 2.5 is for

Most video models hand you a silent clip and leave the sound design to you. Seedance 2.5 does not. Picture and audio are produced together, so a line of dialogue lands on the right lip movement, a door closes on the right frame, and the score swells where the shot asks for it. Put spoken lines in double quotes in your prompt and the model performs them.

It also takes direction from more than words. Give it a first frame to open on, a last frame to land on, or attach up to thirty reference images, ten reference videos and ten reference audio files and describe how they should be used. That is enough to hold a character, a product, a location or a camera move consistent across a sequence of shots rather than rerolling until something matches.

Runs stretch to thirty seconds in a single take, or you can hand the length back to the model and let it pick what the prompt needs. Every option the model exposes is in the panel, nothing is hidden behind a preset, and the credit cost is shown before you spend anything.

Best for: Finished work where the sound matters as much as the picture.

Why people pick it

Sound made with the picture

Dialogue, room tone, effects and music are generated alongside the frames instead of dubbed on afterwards, so nothing drifts out of sync.

Thirty seconds in one take

Long enough for a full spot or a scene with a beginning and an end, not just a three second loop.

Reference almost anything

Images for subject and style, video for motion and camera, audio for rhythm and voice. Up to fifty reference files in a single run.

First and last frame control

Pin where the shot opens and where it lands, and let the model work out the movement between them.

Every control, nothing hidden

This list is generated from the panel itself, so it always matches what you actually get when you open the studio.

How it compares

Every model shares the same panel, the same credits and the same history, so moving between them costs you nothing but a click.

Questions people ask

How long can a Seedance 2.5 clip be?

Up to thirty seconds in one continuous generation. You can also set the duration to automatic and let the model choose the length that suits the prompt, which is billed at five seconds and reconciled once the render returns.

Does Seedance 2.5 generate audio?

Yes. Audio generation is on by default and produces dialogue, sound effects and background music timed to the picture. Put any spoken lines inside double quotes in your prompt. You can switch it off if you plan to score the clip yourself, which also lowers the credit cost.

Can I use my own images, video and audio as references?

You can attach up to thirty reference images, ten reference videos and ten reference audio files. Upload them or paste a URL. References and first or last frame images cannot be combined in the same run, and the panel tells you before you spend credits.

What resolutions and aspect ratios are supported?

480p, 720p and 1080p, in 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 21:9 or an adaptive ratio that follows your input frame. Frame driven runs expect the adaptive ratio.

What does a render cost?

Credits are charged per second and scale with resolution, with a surcharge when audio is generated. The exact figure appears on the Generate button before you commit, and a failed or cancelled render refunds itself automatically.

Do I need a prompt if I upload a frame?

No. A first frame image or a set of references is enough on its own, although a prompt gives you far more control over what happens across the shot.
